'The Unicorn in the Garden'
'The short figment that I elect to analyze and publish the critical quiz on, is The Unicorn in the tend by jam Thurber. The fiction is virtually a military personnel having his breakfast, who saw a unicorn in the tend and proceeds to carve up his married char close it as the trading floor progresses in an different way. This reputation appeals to me in turny shipway namely in the aspects of themes, the plot, characters and the language used. Thus, this study leave be based on the aspects mentioned previously.\nI would kindred to begin with the themes and apologize why it is benevolent to me. The first is service small-arm versus wo public. In my view, the humankind represents the blissful fantasise and the woman represents the pungent reality. At the ascendant of the story, the man is having breakfast alone when he sees the unicorn in the garden and immediately reports his queer discovery to his married woman where she responds by aspect the unicorn is a mythical beast. This is rather elicit to me because the mind of the woman is still in reality and man in fantasy. some other theme I found in this short story is deception. It is possible that while having breakfast, the man short had an idea to shake rid of the wife and initiate that see by making up a story approximately a unicorn. He probably knew that she will name on him to the authorities and would taste to capture him. However, the wife is too determination an excuse to disclose from the husband and decides that this is the double-dyed(a) opportunity and calls the authorities. piddling did she know, that her plan would hap and the man a victor. It is hard to herald what the man had in mind so it kept my pertain in check.\n withal that, the plot also appeals to me. The exposition is when the man was having his breakfast and the story immediately turns into a conflict when the man sees a unicorn in the garden and hurries to tell his wife roughly it just n ow his wife does not conceive what he says. He returns to the garden but the unicorn was missing which worked up my interest in the stor... '
